Do all problems except #'s 11, 13, & 15
Lesson 24 - Column Addition, pgs. 131-133
Do all except #'s 5, 12, 14, 15, 16, & 17
Lesson 25 - Counting Dollars and Cents, pgs. 135-139
Do all except #'s 3, 14, & 16
Please be sure students use the graph paper and that they are using the boxes on the graph to align numbers in addition and subtraction problems.
ENGLISH - Unit 2, Lesson 4, pgs. 68-69 - Review Lesson and do #'s 1-18
Lesson 5, pg. 70 - Review Lesson and do #'s 1-10
Lesson 6, pg. 71 - Review Lesson and do #'s 1-10
SPELLING - None this week.
VOCABULARY - Notecards were written and verified for accuracy yesterday. There are 10 words. Students should complete handout (crossword puzzle) and study words. There will be a quiz early next week.
READING - Read The Battle of Mulan (pages 57-85) and complete Comprehension handout and Inference Chart handout.
Please note that the strategy focus for the reading of this story is monitor and clarify. Students should reread in order to clarify anything that is confusing or they do not understand in the story.
SCIENCE - Unit 3, Lesson 2 - "What Are Some Animal Life Cycles?" pgs. 101- 109
We read and discussed pages 101-107 today. Students should read pgs. 108-109 and answer all questions on pages 101-109. They received study guides today also and should begin studying now.
